M-F, Days Salary:
$23 Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
General Purpose:
Identify imperfections using mechanical or electronic equipment.
Conduct analyses of samples, compile data and interpret and communicate the results.
Main Job Tasks and
Responsibilities:
Perform process checks throughout the system, including receipt of raw material, production, and packaging.
Calibrate or oversee the calibration of all testing equipment.
Schedule and execute sample submittals to external laboratory vendor for batch type testing.
Receive and document batch type testing results from external laboratory vendor.
Provide independent oversight of processes, verifying compliance to company standards and policies, and effectively communicating when there are deviations from standards or processes.
Assist in training employees on quality control training programs and practices.
Maintain accurate and organized records of quality control activities.
Conduct research on quality assurance issues and deliver reports on research to management.
Recommend, champion and execute program enhancements regarding quality assurance and production enhancements.
Key Competencies:
Ability to lift 40lbs Work standing or walking for most working shifts Basic math and literacy Basic computer operation skills Ability to understand and operate basic product testing equipment High level of organizational skills, including written and verbal communication, creative problem solving, and commitment to company goals Ability to speak in groups and conduct group training Research skills Interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy Adaptability
